Ah, so that's how you do it. Well then it's easy, obviously. :P

Seriously, thanks for posting this. Always interesting to see how other artists go about their stuff. Do you always start in greyscale? Tried it a couple of times, but nowadays I mostly just work right in full colour. Depends somewhat on the subject/ desired style.

I pretty much always start with a sketch, go to greyscale, colour overlay, then paint on top with a normal layer, unless I'm doing something from observation then it's straight colours.
