Long story with this one too...

This was originally supposed to be the piece of art that snapped me out of my lull, but I actuall got furious at it for still showing the same type of inconsistent, non-integrated values of all my other pieces. I quit it, and then made Vinland Valkyrie on a whim.

Today I got a call from a guy who was referred to me by a friend, turns out a bunch of boardrooms across Northern Ontario need a bunch of pictures (each one has a different theme or something?) mostly to do with landscapes. He needed some of my art for a proposal (I know it's legit because a friend works with him) and seeing as how my portfolio is fully one half of naked woman wearing impossible fantasy outfits, I knew I'd have to get something else going.

I dug this up and finished it today, not the best but it has a landscape plus native elements (I got the vibe that presenting native/natural themed work would be best, they wanted an artist outside of the city) so it'll do.

I like the lighting, but she doesn't stand out to me enough. I think she can use some stronger shadows on her right side, or change the landscape colors.
