This gorgeous piece has been included in Today's Digital Beauties. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us and sorry for the belated notification. I hope you enjoy the rest of the feature.
ah man, I love how you color! the brushwork on the clouds is really awesome haha really nice rendering.
I hope you don't mind a few suggestions? idk you're waaaay better than me so you can just ignore this orz;; I think the shadows in the snow are a little off color-wise--you have brown and some blue, but I think it would mostly just be blue shadows. the other thing [that's probably intentional anyway orz;;;] is that the mountains in the background seem too close to have blurred outlines when it's actually a really clear day and they're not too far into the distance. I've been told mountains will actually have really sharp silhouettes unless they're right on the horizon.
Awesome work dude! I'm loving the colors in this, the ranger's design, and the subtle texture of the metal and fur trim. For a crit, the purple sash's position feels unnatural to me, like it's being held up by an invisible string. The beads around his neck and on his spear have a very convincing trajectory, but the sash seems to be at the same angle as the beads even though it appears heavier and would be less affected by the same amount of force. The bear's mouth, particularly the side, also stands out to me but I can't put my finger on it. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the crit's; I agree on the bear's mouth especially, I couldn't make it right and the deadline came along... surprised it was accepted thb :/
that's impressive art and i like how you've chosen to stray from the normal image of a ranger, woodland, plains, etc and gone for something original a polar ranger, very awesome

This is one I wish I did better on. I especially agree with the mountains in the background.
