This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

Hi, I found the link to your DA page in the "Fan Art" category of the official Tomb Raider blog ([link]) and thought you would like to know (in case you missed the news) that Crystal Dynamics is holding a huge contest right now where fans can enter with new OR OLD fan art that they created entirely by hand (pencil drawings, oil paintings, sculptures, cosplay items, charcoal sketches, etc).
Grand prize is an original illustration made by Brian Horton - the studio's Art Director!
There are also 3 other big prizes and one of them is handed out to a random contestant, so you don't have to be worried about not standing a chance against the more professional contestants! Read the detailed rules here: [link]
Thanks for the heads up, but the prizes for me might not be enough for me to enter. I'm sure the studio's art director is a fine artist but I only really consider art a prize if it's from someone I know about and am a fan of. None of the swag really interests me either. I'm sure I'd do alright in the contest but I'd rather leave it for the real diehard tomb raider fans.
also hi. I'm not too active here anymore (mainly upload things to put in my portfolio, I use DA's portfolio system with my own domain name as my website) but you'll usually see most of my new stuff
I also saw your comment on a certain art, and a comment made to you about your face. I think you are quite handsome but that was such a dumb argument that I should let it go lol. I do have to say that is an awesome self portrait, you are a very talented artist. Anyway I agree with what you said about the art where I found you, but I also love her art so that sort of thing doesnt bother me. You have a right to your opinion though, and I loved how you handled the situation. Im impressed.

The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.
I can't remember anyone calling me ugly I don't really care, I've no illusions as the the fact that I'm not the pretties pig on the farm but you're nice to lie.
I also like her from a technical standpoint, she can render really well. I just wish that she would start focusing on MORE than just the rendering and start thinking about design and purpose. there's enough generic fantasy out there.
Yeah man, saw your comments on a certain overly sexy character design...totally agree with you. Unfortunately, this is the content that people find tasteful...There is a "cool factor" that happens in fantasy entertainment that overrides realism; enormous boobs, nonsensical armor, totally ridiculous amount of hotness...the list goes on.
I think I'll probably cave in some day and do the same crap haha.
